Mykonos is located at the heart of the Aegean Sea and is one of the most cosmopolitan islands in the Mediterranean.  It is renowned for its clear blue sea, golden beaches and vivid sunsets.  Mykonos’ traditional, whitewashed architecture, its signature windmills and countless churches create a unique picturesque environment.

The island of Mykonos is easily accessible by both air and sea.  Spanning an area of 105 km², it features a coastline of 89 km with many world-class beaches (such as Platis Yialos, Elia beach, Agrari beach, Ftelia beach, Super Paradise, and Psarou).  Furthermore, it is only 2 kilometers away from Delos, an island museum designated by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.

The town of Mykonos (called Chora) comprises of narrow alleys and traditional white-cubed houses. It offers exceptional shopping and entertainment opportunities, and features a vibrant nightlife.  Don’t miss visiting Little Venice during the sunset or taking a picture in one of the signature places of Mykonos – the Windmills. One should also visit the picturesque village of Ano Mera, where there is a monumental monastery and the Mykonos Archaeological Museum, which houses ancient marble sculptures, ceramics and jewelry that were recovered from the islands of Delos and Mykonos.
